The handle going to be made from layers of brass and bronze forged together with some dragon tree ash, if I'll get the needed chemicals and filtered mask I could make the blade looks like a Damascus still, AUS steel made from thousands of layers.
A long time ago I watched something about these Japanese smiths, making blades, the layers and so on. They're insane. That other talk I don't understand, can you explain how you would make it, the handle?
Democracy is a well organized Anarchy in which too many People have something to say about nothing! --MS--
The best thing about AUS steel (it's a Japanese patent) is that if you decided to work with this steel - you can convert all your equipment to AUS fitted equipment and then you don't need to change almost anything that usually get old very fast, there are special equipment parts that will almost not become old at all. save allot of money
(This is not one of mine, just a good example for Damascus still look)
There are countless ways to get the look of Damascus still, I use the most dangerous one which is to throw the metal into a bath with old car battery water, you'll have to move he metal up and down the bath a few times for about 5min.

DarkHeart: Sorry to hear about your back problem p6t, I found that only chiropractors can sort out serious back pain, not cheap & not as enjoyable as wine either lol ::4::
